The LS6 wasn't available in a Monte Carlo, only the LS5. And if that's a real SS, it's missing the emblems from the rocker panels on the front quarters.

A perfect example of clean, understated styling with an insane engine. What a sleeper. To think that they put the LS6 in the corvette, and almost made an LS7—would have made for at least a 1:2 power-to-weight ratio...

That picture is of a plain jane monte carlo. its missing the Ss454 badging on the rocker. that was the only real tell that it was a ss. they were really neat sleeper cars because they sat on the chevelle's frame.
